Our messaging

Messaging is another way that you can express the British Council brand and is most effective when it is used consistently. We are in the process of developing a set of messages for the British Council and our Strategic Business Units (SBUs), but in the meantime we have provided guidance and a number of tools that you can use to bring consistency to your communications and to ensure they are ‘on message’. These include approved statements that describe our organisation, facts about us, and standard out of office email and voicemail messages.
